There is nothing more beautiful than soft colors splashed across the evening sky.

It never gets old.

Always awe inspiring. Always breath taking.

Calming. Satisfying.

Peaceful.

Sometimes, when life seems overwhelming and busy, all it takes to put things back in perspective is an evening walk…

talking with God, while I enjoy His creation.

 

 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.  There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.  Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. Psalm 19:1-4 NIV

The wind whips wild, and tree branches bow low.IMG_0183

Dark, heavy clouds scud across the sky to the west…

while sun shines to the east, before being overtaken by the darkness.

The winter weather plays havoc with anything that isn’t battened down.

As I look out my front window, my thoughts turn to Psalm 19.

The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.  Psalm 19:1-4 NIV

Even the winter wind pays homage to its Creator.

* crazy hair that dances in the wind

* a kind and helpful postal worker

* applications for passports turned in

* hot, Tim Horton’s coffee

* opportunities to reach out and help

* anticipation of a book/Bible study this week with friends

* awe inspiring beauty from The Creator
