5 Minute Friday at The Gypsy Mama…

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..
OK, are you ready? Please give me your best five minutes on:::
Risk…
***********************************************************
Risk
Opening the door.
Risk
Jumping with no safety net.
Risk
Saying good-bye when you really want to run back.
Risk
Stepping out and stepping up.
Knowing in your heart that change is difficult, that the unknown is scary, and that risking is both exhilarating and terrifying.
Being scared…
but, jumping anyway.
Because you never want to look back and wonder, “what if?”

Yes! I do not like wondering “what if”. It’s hard to make the first step, but many times that’s all it takes to get momentum then the rest is at least a little less scary. Thank you for sharing today! Visiting from The Gypsy Mama!
So how do I play write about RISK in a blog on my page and then add your LINK or write it in your comment section lol I am new don’t let the LIKES foo you lol
So true, risk is far better than refusal… to wonder what would have happened if I had done this or that… it is scary to take a risk but sometimes you really will surprise yourself and do well.
I especially love the last four lines of this post. It IS exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.
