Shared bathrooms

opened doors.

Milk and cookies

and PB and J,

Cozy evenings,

long summer days.

Popsicles

and friendships,

Bicycles

and home movie clips.

Family pictures

and church socials,

saying goodbyes

are always emotional.

Growing up

and moving out,

leaving home

great things, no doubt.

Moving forward

looking back,

time stands still,

fade to black…
